stevo likes movies... stevo is a dork

ive watched lots and lots of movies over the past couple days... take a long walk down a short pier with me and ill tell ya all about em! "HATED: Special Edition" this is the movie that brought G.G. Allin to the masses. this re-release is basically the same movie... but the special features this time around include a new interview with G.G.'s brother and bass player Merle, as well as Dino the Naked Drummer... there is also a 'super duper rare' [according to the box] interview with G.G.'s mom... that, plus new commentary tracks by director Todd Phillips [who would later direct Old School and Road Trip], and Merle and Dino... worth it if youre a fan... but still get the old dvd for exclusive footage of G.G.'s last balls-out riot-inducing show [apparently Anthrax's Scott Ian was in attendance], recorded the day G.G. died. "Andrew W.K.: Who Knows?" basically the past four years of the life and times of party guru and Master of All That Is Fun... this video is a look at many many concerts, as well as some crazy audio/visual effects and state-of-the-art techniques that keep the narrative going in whatever the hell direction that it does. as enigmatic as the man behind the songs, if you were ever confused as to who or what Andrew W.K. was or is, this movie gives you the full A.W.K. experience from the comfort of your mom's basement where youre no doubt watching it while eating doritos in your underpants. if i had more than two thumbs, they would all the up for this movie. "Henry Rollins: Live at Luna Park" Henry Rollins spoken word performance. i shouldnt even have to mention how awesome it is. "Who Cares: The Duane Peters Story" Duane Peters is the lead singer of some of the most hardcore punk rock bands around [U.S. Bombs, Die Hunns, Exploding F**kdolls, D.P. Gunfight, Political Crap]. hes also one of the most legendary skateboarders of all time, inventing several moves used widely by skaters everywhere. this biopic is a straightforward, no BS look at the life and times of The Master of Disaster [which Duane Peters is aptly named]. interviews with lots and lots of skaters, bandmates, friends, mom and more... definitely for punk rockers and skateboarders... PERIOD. "FEAST" instant classic. mysterious creatures show up. people die. that is all im going to say. the rest is up to you to watch. this movie will go down as one of the most fun-to-watch, gory, gritty, violent, hilarious, clever, satisfying, badass pieces of cinema EVER. expect nothing. just go with it. instead of going out and meeting girls, this is what im doing with myself.
