THE SWASTIKA BUILDING

A Navy barracks resembling a swastika... about to get a $600,000 make-over after conspiracy theorists and Jewish groups sounded off about the building. The four L-shaped buildings are part of the U.S. amphibious base at Coronado island in San Diego. But the growing popularity of satellite images from Google Earth made a few nut jobs aware of the fact they are shaped like a swastika when seen from above. The Anti-Defamation League has campaigned for modifications to the building, and after nine months of talks... the Navy bowed down and said it would spend $600,000 on landscaping and architectural changes that would obscure the swastika shape from the air. One conspiracy theory suggests the buildings were built by German prisoners of war who slipped the layout past the Navy. Another suggests the shape needs to be seen in context with the surrounding landscape. Doing so would reveal two "U.S. Bombers" making a run toward the "Third Reich" to destroy them.
Anyway I look at it... it all comes out the same. Who care?!?! Do we really need to spend $600,000 on this crap? Are you kidding me? Nut Jobs GO HOME!!!
